Q: Is there a minimum order?
There is no minimum for Standard Items purchased online. Standard items include all the legend plates you see in our store with your text engraved. There is a $5 small order fee for orders under $20. Custom items (items made to your specifications or from your drawings) may be subject to a minimum order.
Q: What is your lead time?
For Standard Items the lead time is 48 hours or less. Most orders ship the next business day. For custom or very large orders, an estimate will be provided with your quote.
Q: What material do you use?
We use engravable plastic from Rowmark, Gemini, IPI and Trolase. Top quality stuff. 3M Peel and stick adhesive is applied.
Q: Will the text be centered?
Yes, where appropriate. Selector legends right and left positions would be an example of an exception.
Q: Will you ship using my UPS account number?
Yes. Please select "Use My UPS Account" as the shipping method, and provide your UPS account number in the box provided.
Q: Can you make any size legend plate?
Yes, up to 24"x18"
Q: What type of drawing should I send?
We can use a variety of vector (CAD) file types (*.dwg, *.dxf, *.eps, and *.pdf). AutoCAD (*.dwg) is the preferred file type. More information is here Drawing Legend Plates
Q: Do you accept Purchase Orders?
Yes. You may use a Purchase Order to pay for an online order. Just select Purchase Order on the payment page and checkout. Reply to the Order Confirmation email and attach a copy of the PO. You must provide a PO copy for all orders that use this payment method. There is a minimum $25 order for POs.
Q: Are your legends OK for outdoor use?
Q: Can I get legends in Spanish, French or any other language?
Yes. Simply provide the text in the language you would like.
Q: Can I send you hand sketches or photos of what I want?
Yes and No. We strongly prefer drawing files of some sort. The legend plates are made directly from the files you send to avoid errors. In some cases we will accept a hand sketch but pricing and lead time will be adjusted accordingly.
